In May, The Heritage Ballet returns to UKK with “Swan Lake,” where dance, drama, and magic blend into an unforgettable performance.
“Swan Lake,” originally staged in St. Petersburg in 1895, is set to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s timeless music and is one of the world’s most beloved ballet productions. With its unbeatable “white acts,” spectacular and dramatic ball scene, exquisite music, and deeply touching story, this ballet outshines all others. The Heritage Ballet will present this masterpiece as it was meant to be seen, with beautifully traditionally painted backdrops, Tchaikovsky’s fantastic score, and critically acclaimed dancers performing the full-length production for the audience in Uppsala.
