Information regarding covid-19 (coronavirus)

InfoPoints

As the government, on the advice of the Swedish Public Health Agency, stops all public gatherings with more than 50 people to reduce the spread of infection, many events, places of interest and restaurants around the country are affected, Uppsala included. Here you can find a list of some destinations and events that are affected. There are still many sights, activities and attractions to visit and enjoy and we welcome you with open arms to our beloved Uppsala. Stay safe, keep your distance and think of others. For more information on how we can all reduce the spread of infection, read more at Uppsala.se.

Here you can read more about the recommendations from the Swedish Public Health Agency.

Update October 20th 2020 – Stricter general guidelines in Uppsala County
The Swedish Public Health Agency has, in consultation with among others the infection control doctor in the Uppsala region, decided on stricter general advice between October 20th–November 17th 2020. Those staying in Uppsala County are now urged to avoid traveling by public transport as much as possible and to avoid physical contact with people other than those with whom they live. The stricter general guidelines for Uppsala County apply until November 17th, but can be extended. Read more about the local stricter general guidelines here.
