This temporary exhibition reveals the lesser-known history of radiation therapy’s technical advancements, with Uppsala at the forefront of global innovation since the 1950s. A collaboration between the Museum of Medical History and the Swedish Radiation Therapy History Association (BHFS), the exhibition offers a visually compelling journey through seven decades of groundbreaking research and technological development. Visitors can experience, among other highlights, an artistic interpretation of modern radiation therapy by textile artist Kristina Skantze.
