Arenahotellet is Uppsala’s largest and most recently built hotel, featuring a spacious and modern conference center.
The hotel offers a total of 200 rooms with around 600 beds, including 19 rooms with full accessibility adaptations. There is also an entire corridor with extra-long beds for guests who prefer that option.
Arenahotellet’s conference facilities include seven meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology — all featuring modern screens, cameras, and sound systems. To ensure productive meetings, each room offers excellent ventilation, dimmable lighting, and effective soundproofing. The largest conference room accommodates up to 200 guests and can be divided into three medium-sized rooms with movable walls. In addition, there are four more conference rooms located on various floors.
The hotel’s restaurant, The Corner, is an à la carte restaurant open daily for both hotel guests and the public, seating up to 200 people. The menu focuses on classic Scandinavian cuisine with international influences. The restaurant also serves the hotel’s breakfast buffet and pre-booked lunches. The Corner can be booked exclusively for corporate events, after-work gatherings, kick-offs, celebrations, and more.
Guests can also enjoy the hotel lounge — a spacious and social area with seating for about 70 people in sofas, armchairs, and chairs — as well as a stylish hotel bar offering a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, along with its own lounge menu.
The relaxation area is another highlight. Located on the 8th floor — the very top of the hotel — it offers stunning views over Uppsala and features a hot tub, sauna, showers, changing area, and a relaxation lounge with comfortable seating.
For younger guests, there’s also a game room equipped with PlayStation and Xbox stations. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available throughout the hotel.
Getting to Arenahotellet is easy. The hotel is conveniently located by the E4 motorway and national road 55. A large parking area with 84 free spaces — including 8 with charging stations — is available right next to the hotel. From Arenahotellet, you’re also within walking distance of most of Uppsala’s major sports arenas, such as IFU Arena, Gränby Ice Rinks, Recoverhallen, UTK-hallen, and Uppsala Athletics Arena. Hotel guests also enjoy complimentary access to a large, modern gym located right next door.
