Revolve Performance Art Days is Uppsala’s annual festival for performance art and will be held for the ninth time in 2026. During the festival, Uppsala Art Museum at Uppsala Castle becomes a vibrant stage for experimental performances where visual art meets choreography and the boundaries between artist and audience are explored. The programme also extends to other locations across the city.
3. Discover Handcrafted Treasures at Ulva Kvarn’s Spring Market
From 14–16 May, the popular spring market at Ulva Mill takes place. Ulva Mill is a charming crafts village where you’ll find a wide range of unique products, along with local food and artisan goods. Take the opportunity to explore the glassworks studio, antique shop, and restaurant—all set in a picturesque environment by the old mill. Ulva Mill makes for a delightful outing, just 15 minutes by bus from central Uppsala.

On May 31, treat your mom to a luxurious afternoon tea for Swedish Mother’s Day.
