Leonard Cohen’s music and poetry are given new life in a concert programme where newly written songs inspired by his poems are woven together with some of his most beloved classics – all performed in Yiddish. Through these interpretations, new perspectives on Cohen’s Jewish heritage emerge in a heartfelt tribute marking ten years since his passing. At the same time, the concert offers a glimpse into the rich traditions of Yiddish culture through music filled with storytelling, presence and warmth.
