Conductor Nuno Coelho and violinist Carolin Widmann return to the Uppsala Chamber Orchestra for a programme that combines contemporary music with late Romantic repertoire. Widmann performs Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s Violin Concerto, a richly expressive work renowned for its cinematic character. The concert opens with a newly commissioned piece by Ylva Q. Arkvik and concludes with Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7. A pre-concert introduction is offered before the performance.
