Uppsala Chamber Orchestra welcomes conductor Magnus Fryklund back for a programme that spans Impressionism, American music and classical symphonic repertoire. Clarinettist Magnus Holmander performs Aaron Copland’s jazz-inspired Clarinet Concerto, a work that combines lyrical passages with vibrant rhythms. The evening opens with Claude Debussy’s Petite Suite in Henri Büsser’s orchestral arrangement and concludes with Ludwig van Beethoven’s energetic Symphony No. 7.
