Uppsala Chamber Orchestra presents a programme that combines classical masterpieces with contemporary music. Pianist and conductor Simon Crawford-Phillips leads the orchestra from both the keyboard and the podium in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 14. The concert also celebrates composer Britta Byström’s 50th birthday with a performance of Yankadi, alongside Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite and Anna Clyne’s Restless Oceans. A pre-concert introduction is offered before the performance.
