Celebrate the first Sunday of Advent with Johann Sebastian Bach’s magnificent Christmas Oratorio, parts I–III, performed in the beautiful surroundings of Uppsala Cathedral.
Collegium Cantorum joins forces with the period-instrument ensemble Orfeus Barock and soloists Margaret Carpenter Haigh, Katija Dragojevic, Joel Annmo and Staffan Liljas. Conducted by Robert Bennesh, the performance brings Bach’s joyful choruses, expressive arias and the Christmas story to life in one of Sweden’s most impressive churches.
