Experience the beauty of Advent music in the atmospheric setting of Uppsala Cathedral. Schola Cantorum presents a festive programme featuring Anders Öhrwall’s Gaudete, alongside Advent and Christmas music from different countries and centuries.
The choir is joined by flautists Kristina Ålåker and Åsa Karlberg, bassoonist Mats Klingfors and organist Nicolas Haigh. Conducted by Robert Bennesh, the concert brings together rich choral harmonies and instrumental colours in a celebration of the musical traditions of the season.
