Uppsala Art Museum presents Långtifrån var det en ö, an exhibition by artist Anna Pehrsson. Through sculpture and printmaking, she explores the relationship between the human body, landscapes and the slow transformations of nature. Working with materials such as limestone, marble and copper, Pehrsson reveals geological processes including erosion, crystallisation and change. Drawing on her background in dance and choreography, the exhibition brings together movement, material and nature in a poetic exploration of time and transformation. The exhibition is presented as part of the City of Uppsala’s Studio Scholarship Programme 2025/26.
