Sabina Ddumba broke through in 2014 with the single “Scarred for Life” and quickly established herself as one of Sweden’s most acclaimed soul and pop artists. With roots in Tensta Gospel Choir, her music is shaped by melodic soul-pop and powerful vocal expression. Following hits such as “Not Too Young” and “Effortless,” she received a Swedish Grammy for Newcomer of the Year. Her appearance on Så mycket bättre in 2017 brought her even wider recognition, particularly through her interpretation of Uno Svenningsson’s “Vågorna.” The concert at Parksnäckan offers an evening marked by emotion and strong stage presence.
Parksnäckan has been Uppsala’s summer scene for over 50 years – in the middle of the flourishing City Garden you can experience a wonderful mix of international superstars, local artists and children’s events.
