As the summer evening settles over Lake Mälaren, the portico of Skokloster Castle becomes the setting for an atmospheric celebration of Baroque and early music. Some of Sweden’s leading musicians and performers come together in a concert where music, poetry and historic architecture form a harmonious whole. The evening is divided into three concert sections with intermissions, with period-inspired choral performances by Bålsta Chamber Choir adding to the experience. A memorable cultural evening in one of Sweden’s most remarkable Baroque settings.
