The exhibition also features many fascinating life stories that offer new perspectives – voices that have previously been left out of the history books. Unique artifacts and powerful tales take center stage, highlighting the human experience, whether of ruler or prisoner, guest or servant. You’ll also learn more about the rich architectural history of the castle itself.
The museum is perfect for the whole family, with several interactive elements that are fun for all ages.
Right next door is Uppsala Art Museum. The castle grounds themselves are well worth a visit too, offering breathtaking views of the city, the cathedral, and the Botanical Garden.
