Uppsala Natural History Museum

Learn about your origin in our exhibition on human evolution. Look at the Nordic countries largest collection of real dinosaur skeletons. Get to now birds from Sweden and Darwin finches from the Galapagos Islands.

The museum of Evolution is a classic natural history museum for animal lovers and dinosaur fans of all ages. The museum has one building filled with fossils and mineral, and another presenting modern day animals from all around the world.

Our collections contain over 5 million specimens, which has been collected by researchers at Uppsala university from the 17th century and onwards.

Note! As of June 1 2015 our zoology building on Villavägen 9 is closed for renovations. The palaeontology building is open as usual.
