Fjällnora Recreation Area

Fjällnora open-air recreation area is surrounded by lakes, steep, wooded hilltops and vast forests. In the summer and winter, Fjällnora becomes a paradise of activities.

Swimming Area

Both lakes in the area, Trehörningen or Ramsen, have a large open-air swimming area, a naturist beach and a dog beach, where your four-footed friend can take a dip. Follow the signs from the rental cottages at the entrance.

Hiking

The area also has excellent hiking trails if you want to go out and explore the interesting landscape. For example, you can hike the Upplandsleden trail that passes through the area. You can also go fishing, biking, rent boats and much more.

Winter Activities

In the winter, tracks are plowed on Trehörningen Lake for Nordic skating. There are also many tracks in the area for cross-country skiing. Nordic skates and skis with accessories are available for rental.

Playground

Fjällnora nature playground is suitable for both smaller and older children. There are swings, climbing frames and play equipment shaped like ants, lizards and other small insects.

Animals

Many domestic animals live on the farm. There are cows, horses, sheep, chickens, pigs and goats.

Fjällnora Café

Fjällnora Café serves light lunches and coffee.

Barbecue Areas

When your stomach starts to rumble, there are also several barbecue places where you can grill sausages and eat a packed lunch. Firewood is available on site.

Go Adventure

Adventure course

At Fjällnora you can also test your courage in the adventure course – 30 stations up in the trees that are connected by cable cars, nets and suspension bridges.
