Rent a canoe, kayak or SUP and discover Uppsala’s beautiful nature from the water! The Uppland canoe trails are easy to paddle and safe, they are suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Fyrisån has a beautiful canoe trail that starts in Vattholma and ends in the city. On the way, you can stop and rest in shelters near Valsgärde boat burial ground and at the picturesque Ulva mill. You can also paddle in the Sunnersta, Alnäs and Fjällnora outdoor areas.

Aktivt Uteliv

Aktivt Uteliv is a local sports and outdoor store in Sunnerstastugen, the red hut located at Sunnerstaåsen. Kayaks, double kayaks and canoes are available for rent here. They also arrange kayak trips and training for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Don’t want to leave central Uppsala? No problem! You can rent canoes and SUPs  (Stand Up Paddleboard) from Aktivt Uteliv at Fyrishov Camping. Canoes and SUPs are available for rent here via a simple click-and-collect solution.

You can also rent kayaks, double kayaks and canoes from Friluftsfrämjandet. Located at Sunnerstaåsen, they also arrange kayak trips and training.
