For one week in October, Uppsala’s historic cinema district becomes a meeting place for short films from around the world. The 45th Uppsala Short Film Festival presents more than 300 films, ranging from new Swedish and international competition entries to special programmes, retrospectives and films for children and young audiences.
Internationally recognised filmmakers visit Uppsala for screenings and conversations, giving audiences the chance to discover award-winning films and meet the people behind them. The weekend also features free family screenings.
