Baroque music, Nordic folk and string quartet gems come together in a concert shaped by playfulness, exploration and musical surprises. Violinist Anna Kroeker and violinist and percussionist Anders Åkered invite musicians to explore new musical encounters together. After two days of rehearsals, the music takes shape in front of the audience, leaving room for both the planned and the unexpected.
For this first edition, they are joined by violinist Maria Lindal, known from Drottningholm Palace Theatre and Rebaroque, and cellist Kevin Kirs Verstege. Together, the quartet moves freely between traditions, periods and musical expressions.
Bror Hjorths Hus is an artist’s museum housed in Bror Hjorth’s former home and studio, offering an intimate setting for this exploratory musical encounter.
