As summer turns to autumn, Bror Hjorths Hus hosts FOLKFEST, an intimate evening festival featuring four folk music groups. Performances alternate between Bror Hjorth’s atmospheric studio and the museum courtyard.
The programme brings together the vocal traditions of Ambra, JEMPA’s energetic Nordic folk music and Sajt med S, whose five fiddlers have their roots in the musical traditions of Hälsingland. Uppsala-based Kvällom rounds off the evening with Scandinavian folk songs inspired by the British Isles. Wraps and refreshments will be available in the garden.
