Step into a magical winter fairytale with The Ice Princess, a ballet inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen. The story follows Princess Sofia, whose frozen heart leads her on a journey of courage, friendship and hope. Performed by internationally acclaimed dancers from some of Europe’s leading ballet companies together with Etoile Production, the performance combines handcrafted costumes, atmospheric stage design and live music from a string quartet. The result is an enchanting Christmas experience where classical ballet and timeless music bring a beloved fairytale to life.
The tour is presented by the Norwegian organisation Kultur for Folket, dedicated to producing cultural events of the highest artistic quality. It also supports Ukrainian classical ballet and Ukrainian artists who are currently unable to perform in their homeland.
