Reginateatern

The intimate venue Reginateatern is one of Sweden’s leading guest performance venues. Here you can experience the best of Uppsala’s local culture alongside high-quality guest productions from across Sweden and the world. Reginateatern is also a stage for spoken word and poetry, hosting the annual international poetry festival Ordsprak. Improvisational theatre is another highlight, with the #SWIMP – Sweden International Improv Festival taking place every other year.

Den Lilla Teatern

Den Lilla Teatern is Uppsala’s only dedicated children’s theatre. The venue, once home to a riding school and later a bicycle factory, is now the stage of the independent theatre group Panikteatern. Gottsunda Dans & Teater

Teater Blanca

Teater Blanca is a theatre ensemble that reinterprets classical plays through music and creativity. The ensemble consists of adults with disabilities, working within Uppsala Municipality’s daily activity programme. Every script is written specifically for the ensemble, with original music performed live and costumes designed in the theatre’s own workshop.
