Salsta Castle

Salsta slott

Salsta Castle is a beautiful baroque castle from 1679, located 25 km north of Uppsala. Here you can join guided tours, enjoy concerts, see art exhibitions, and spend a night in the east pavilion. In summer, you can relax with a fika in the cozy castle café, and in autumn, ghost walks bring to life legends with a touch of the supernatural.

If you’re in Uppsala around Christmas, we recommend visiting Salsta Castle’s traditional Christmas market, where some thirty artisans offer beautiful crafts and tasty treats.

Salsta Castle Café & Bistro

The café is open during summer, Wednesday–Sunday, 11 am–4 pm.
