Climbing in Uppsala

Uppsala offers several great facilities for bouldering, top-rope climbing, and lead climbing. If you don’t have your own gear, you can easily rent it on site. Prefer the outdoors? There are also a number of beginner-friendly rock walls where you can climb surrounded by nature.

Klättercentret Uppsala is an indoor facility that offers bouldering, top-rope climbing, and lead climbing for everyone – from beginners to advanced climbers. There’s also a cosy café where you can relax after your session.

Allis Uppsala

Allis Uppsala is an activity centre primarily aimed at young people aged 10–25, but it offers a wide range of activities for all ages. Here you can enjoy the bouldering walls, or try other fun activities such as parkour, skateboarding, and working out in the gym.

Outdoor Climbing

  • Predikstolen – A scenic crag in the Hågadalen-Nåsten Nature Reserve.
  • Dalkarlskärret – Uppsala’s most charming “fika cliff,” located along a field edge by the hiking trails in Hammarskog Nature Reserve.at.
  • Uvhällsklack – A lower rock wall that’s especially pleasant in summer, within walking distance of the Tenasjön swimming area.
