M/S Enköping

M/S Enköping first began operating on Lake Mälaren in 1868 and is said to be the oldest passenger ship in the world still in regular service. Today she is owned by the shipping company Strömma and during the summer usually departs from Islandsbron in Uppsala, offering daytime excursions to the baroque Skokloster Castle as well as evening dinner cruises with a shrimp buffet on Lake Ekoln. These boat trips typically run from June to August.

M/S Kung Carl Gustaf has called Uppsala her home port for more than 125 years. On board, you can enjoy a scenic journey along the River Fyris and out into the waters of Lake Mälaren. Coffee or a glass of wine is served on the sun deck. Day cruises include lunch on board before the ship arrives at Skokloster, where you can visit the magnificent 17th-century baroque castle. On evening cruises, you can watch the sunset from the upper deck and enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the ship’s salons.
