The “King of Flowers,” Carl Linnaeus, left his mark on many places in and around Uppsala – one of them being Linné’s Hammarby, where he lived and worked during the summer months. Today, the estate is a museum well worth visiting for Café Sara Lisa alone. Here you can enjoy sandwiches, pastries, and a wide selection of teas in a lush 18th-century garden filled with many of the plants Linnaeus himself once cultivated.
