In the interactive sculpture Imposter machine, Tobias Bradford explores the relationship between humans and machines. The work features a drawing robot that observes its surroundings and transforms impressions into images using a locally trained AI model. The artistic process moves between control and improvisation, combining exposed mechanical structures with gestures that appear unexpectedly human. Developed in collaboration with students and researchers at the Ångström Laboratory, the work is now shown for the first time at Uppsala Art Museum. Admission is free.
