Rock legend Lita Ford is coming to Uppsala in summer 2025! Known as one of rock’s trailblazing guitarists, Lita began her career at the age of 16 with the iconic all-female band The Runaways. The band broke barriers for women in rock music, with Lita’s technical prowess and explosive energy quickly making her a standout figure.
Her solo career took off with the debut album Out For Blood in 1982, followed by her breakthrough album Lita in 1988, featuring hits like “Kiss Me Deadly” and the duet “Close My Eyes Forever” with Ozzy Osbourne. Lita also penned her autobiography, Living Like a Runaway: A Memoir, and is set to release a highly anticipated new album in 2025.
