During the Easter weekend, Gamla Uppsala Museum hosts a historical spring market with free admission. Historically inspired artisans will present, describe and sell their crafts in and around the museum. Visitors can explore historical clothing, textiles, blacksmithing, jewellery, wood carving, leatherwork and traditional food. The event also includes guided museum tours about the grand history of Gamla Uppsala, as well as a Viking school for both children and adults. The market is designed for a broad audience and is suitable for visitors who do not speak Swedish.
