For several decades, Arja Saijonmaa has been a prominent voice in Nordic music and performing arts. Known for her distinctive voice and expressive stage presence, she has moved between political songs, classic ballads and schlager. Her repertoire includes beloved classics such as “Högt över havet,” along with interpretations of Finnish and international songs. Over the years she has also appeared in popular television programmes such as Så mycket bättre and Melodifestivalen. At Parksnäckan she presents a concert reflecting a long and multifaceted artistic career.
Parksnäckan has been Uppsala’s summer scene for over 50 years – in the middle of the flourishing City Garden you can experience a wonderful mix of international superstars, local artists and children’s events.
