Along the way, you can stop at the coffee shop in Marielund or in the summer paradise Fjällnora, where there is a swimming area and a children’s zoo.
You can also or have a nice meal at the Länna Bruk restaurant or eat “steam engine beef” at the inn Augusts Värdshus in Almunge. In Faringe, the home base of the railway, you may get a glimpse of other historic vehicles but you can also go shopping at Thun’s outlet store and have a bite to eat at their Café Go´biten. You can get on/off at any of the stations or stops along the route. The trains leave from Uppsala Central station, track 10 but if you are coming from the north, east or south, you can also start your trip in Faringe near Route 273 or from Almunge at Route 282.
