Welcome to Bryggeriet Ångkvarn. In the corner of Bävern’s alley and Östra Ågatan, right by the Fyris river, is Uppsala’s first brewery pub. It has sprung from a long rich history that dates back to Uppsala’s industrialization. The brewery is glazed and visible behind the bar. If you are there one evening when brewing is in progress, you can enjoy a beer, see the brewmaster brew the next beer and smell the malt and hops spreading through the room.
The kitchen prepares inspiring dishes from locally produced ingredients. À la carte is served in the dining room and the bar menu is served in the bar. The dining room is also available to book a meeting, conference, party or beer tasting.
