On 30 April, Uppsala Concert & Congress Hall sets long tables for a traditional herring lunch in the restaurant. The buffet features a wide selection of herring dishes with classic accompaniments, complemented by salads and cold cuts. Guests may choose their preferred beverages, including both snaps and alcohol-free options. During the lunch, spring songs and traditional drinking songs create a festive and convivial atmosphere as the arrival of spring is celebrated. The herring lunch is a long-standing Walpurgis tradition in Uppsala.
