During the Easter holidays, children are invited to the Tropical Greenhouse to try their hand at gardening. At the planting tables, participants sow a seed and take the young plant home to care for. The activity offers a tangible introduction to how plants grow, from seed to plant, and connects to the Botanical Garden’s work with cultivation. Those who wish can later enter their harvest in the growers’ competition on Botany Day this autumn. The planting tables are open from 11:00 to 14:00 and the activity is aimed at children aged 5–8.
