Spicy and Colorful from Around the World

For North African flavors, head to Messob, a gem focused on Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine. Here, food is eaten with injera, a tangy bread that doubles as both a base and utensils. Many of the dishes are plant-based, making it an excellent choice for both carnivores and vegetarians. Don’t miss the Messob mix, a platter featuring several stews that offer a complete taste of North African cuisine. Bring at least one friend to share this meal served directly from the large communal dish.

The original is located on the cozy Drottninggatan. The flavors here are authentically Mexican with a modern twist. Try the atrancadito—a taco filled with braised beef, potatoes, and guacamole—a perfect example of how seemingly simple dishes can be packed with delightful surprises.
