The Viking age comes to life in Gamla Uppsala! Viking reenactors from near and far visit Gamla Uppsala during this summer’s big Viking festival.
A group of Vikings in historical clothing visits Gamla Uppsala and sets up camp in front of the museum. There will be a Viking market and opportunity to explore the camp life, where you can look at Viking-era crafts and buy replicas of Viking-era objects. There will also be interesting lectures, screenings and not least – activities for kids and families.
