Every year on the first Advent, Skokloster Castle hosts a traditional Christmas market. Visitors can enjoy authentic handicrafts, local delicacies, and Christmas gifts from the castle’s shop. Winter tours inside the castle, one of the world’s finest preserved baroque palaces, are also available. Skokloster Castle, built during Sweden’s era of great power, offers a glimpse into aristocratic life over 350 years ago. The castle is beautifully situated by Lake Mälaren and along the Upplandsleden hiking trail.
