The Valborg Ball at Uppsala Castle is one of the highlights of spring and attracts guests from all over Sweden every year. Celebrate the arrival of spring with an evening of high-class food, drinks, and entertainment under the direction of Scandinavia’s oldest academic choir, Allmänna Sången.
The dinner consists of a three-course meal, group singing, and performances by Allmänna Sången, along with beautiful traditions marking the arrival of spring. At nine o’clock, after the dinner concludes, you can hear Allmänna Sången’s traditional spring tribute at the Gunilla Bell outside the castle, which is also broadcasted on national radio. Following that, the castle opens for dancing to the tunes of the Attractions Orchestra until the early hours of the morning.
The ball is open to all individuals over 18 years old, and no nation card is required. Let the fairy tale come true for one evening and attend Allmänna Sången’s Valborg Ball at Uppsala Castle!
