Over the years, Uppsala International Literature Festival has become a key venue for introducing debut authors and distinctive literary voices from around the world. This year’s festival, held from March 27 to 29, highlights Nigeria’s vibrant literary scene with guest authors from Lagos, a major cultural hub on the African continent. The festival will also feature poetic voices addressing the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Kholod Saghir, poet and translator, is the artistic director of the festival.
