Bowie in Berlin

Conductor and music arranger Hans Ek interprets together with solo artists Jennie Abrahamson, Moto Boy and Jonathan Johansson the Berlin Trilogy by David Bowie. David Bowie is not just glam rock and theatrical alter ego like Ziggy Stardust. For a few years in the 70s, he fled the success and drugs of Los Angeles to move to Berlin and create a new musical language. The result was the so-called Berlin trilogy, consisting of the discs Low, Heroes and Lodger.
